We’re looking for a Project Director to work with our team of designers, strategists and developers. You will work with the leadership team to lead, direct and shape our Melbourne design and development studio. You will be responsible for managing, leading and aligning multiple creative and technical partners ensuring best-in-class execution.
 
We’re looking for someone who is an enthusiastic problem solver with a thirst for understanding. An analytical mind and quick thinking in a fast-paced environment are essential. Confidence in your ability, experience, skills and a ‘take-the-lead’ attitude make you the perfect candidate.
 
You are someone who has the following attributes as a baseline:
 

• Proven experience in delivering projects at a high level, on time and on budget
• Passionate about technology and design
• An exacting attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Personal initiative and a desire for genuine collaboration
• Familiarity with various project/team collaboration tools

• Manage overall studio scheduling, resourcing, project workflow 
• Plan and prioritize all studio deliverables and resources working cross-project
• Facilitation of scope definition activities
• Write proposals and scope of work documents
• Act as the senior point of project contact, communicating effectively to all internal and external stakeholders, through the project lifecycle.
• Manage schedules, budgets, invoicing, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed
• Work alongside the management team on financial management from cost estimation to budget management
• Monthly tracking and reporting across all projects
• Actively monitor project progress, risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them
• Proactively identify and solve complex client challenges
• Deliver outstanding client service that forges open, honest and long-term client relationships and further business
• Engage and motivate the team, clients, internal stakeholders and third parties.

• Have an inquisitive interest in the latest development techniques and design trends 
• Have a passion and commitment to solving the complex technical challenges
• Have the ability to see projects through to completion with an innovative and curiosity-driven approach

Required

• 5+ years experience in software development project management, in digital, web or IT industries
• Bachelor Degree (or other qualification) in a relevant field desirable
• Proven experience in delivering projects at a high level, on time and on budget
• Experience in an agency environment, dealing directly with C-Level stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, support and understand different project teams
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills 

• Experiencing line-managing project delivery teams
