Derek Schiller, President and CEO, Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves are one of Major League Baseball’s best-known franchises, boasting a legacy of on-field excellence and national prominence.
With the Braves set to open a new, privately financed stadium and surrounding mixed-use development in 2017, we were hired to create a high-impact, digital sales tool to help visitors to the Preview Center envision sponsorship, branding and seating opportunities.
The Envision SunTrust Park application transports potential sponsors to a virtual ballpark where they can place brand assets into available locations and take away a visual representation of how their brand will look in the new facility. This tri-screen presentation tool delivers high-level 3D modeling and intuitive interactivity that advances the sales process in an engaging way. In addition, prospective ticket buyers can navigate the interactive touchscreen to see seat views, pricing and amenity information before making a decision. Video content about the Braves history and the project also supports the organization’s sales efforts.
The Envision SunTrust Park app gives the Braves a huge head start in sponsorship and ticket sales capabilities, enabling prospects and fans to anticipate the potential and envision the reality of their investment well before the stadium is complete. By offering realistic visuals, key data such as audience demographics and regional travel times, and comprehensive summary presentations for follow-up, the experience greatly advances the sales process with a tool that offers a whole new ballgame.
The Envision SunTrust Park application offers a virtual ballpark experience on a touchscreen, enabling users to explore the Atlanta Braves stadium even as it’s being built.
Views of the development help preview opportunities planned around SunTrust Park, both for would-be sponsors and fans.
The application includes visualizations of sponsorship placement, the view from seats around the park, regional travel times and the progress of the site's development.
